The Bilingual Class Assistant role is onsite in Boston, MA, with pay of $17.50–$18.00 per hour. The position supports BCNC’s Adult Education and Workforce team, which helps adult immigrant learners build skills for employment and family-sustaining wages. The assistant supports bilingual computer-skills classes by explaining and demonstrating technology in English and a required additional language, helping learners practice digital skills, and coordinating classroom needs with the Digital Navigator. The role also helps participants build confidence and use technology more independently.

What you'll do

• Support bilingual computer-skills classes for adult immigrant learners
• explain and demonstrate technology in English and Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, French, Spanish, or Haitian Creole
• assist with computer practice, classroom setup, device distribution, basic troubleshooting, attendance, check-in, surveys, assessments, and documentation
• communicate participant needs and classroom observations to the Digital Navigator.
