Senior Organizer – Data Center Campaign

Job overview

The Senior Organizer – Data Center Campaign role is full-time and based along Virginia’s I-95 corridor, with Richmond or Northern Virginia offices available. Compensation is $60,000–$64,000 per year. New Virginia Majority organizes working-class communities of color for racial, economic, and environmental justice. The organizer helps develop and execute campaigns addressing the impacts of planned data centers. The role builds community relationships, develops local leaders, supports campaign coalitions, and advances organizing strategy through education, engagement, and action.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with community members
• train and develop members and campaign leaders
• maintain relationships with organizations, elected officials, and community members
• follow up with leads through meetings, calls, and house visits
• track member engagement
• support popular education and action
• participate in campaign strategy and implementation
• build coalitions and relationships with allies.
