Junior Highway Engineer

What you'll do

• Work on transportation engineering projects involving roadways, trails, and pedestrian facilities
• design alignments, drainage systems, signing and pavement markings, safety assessments, erosion and sediment control, and traffic maintenance and protection schemes
• prepare construction-related documents
• may prepare reports, conduct field reconnaissance and inspection, and render projects
• attend meetings and conferences when necessary.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation concentration from an ABET-accredited college required; 0–5 years of experience; EIT certificate preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
