Telephonic Triage Nurse | Hybrid

What you'll do

• Monitor and respond to triage calls in person and/or on the nurse phone line
• assess urgency and direct patients to emergency rooms, urgent care, home-care advice, or physician appointments
• use clinical decision-making algorithms as a guide
• arrange emergency response for high-risk complaints
• document consultations and treatments in the EHR
• consult with physicians as needed
• provide patient education
• assist with chart reviews, audits, reports, and nursing policies.
