Job overview

The Forklift Operator role is onsite at the Normal, IL facility; pay is $17.35 per hour, with a seasonal bonus of $2.25 per hour from November through April. Southshore is a third-party logistics provider serving businesses across several states.

What you'll do

• Operate and inspect forklifts
• transport, stack, and organize products
• load and unload trucks
• receive, put away, and pick products
• use scanning equipment to move inventory accurately
• identify and report damaged inventory or shortages
• maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• follow safety procedures and report equipment issues.

Why this role

The employer provides forklift training and certification. The schedule is 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. April–November, with split shifts November–April; ability to work both shifts is preferred. Overtime and some Saturdays may be needed.
