The Cook I role is onsite in Channahon, IL. Pay is $16.00–$16.50 per hour. The cook supports cafeteria service for Quest Food Management Services. The role prepares and presents menu items to Quest standards and assists with daily kitchen operations. It contributes to consistent service by preparing cold and hot foods, receiving deliveries, assisting customers, and following recipes and food-safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare and present menu items during cafeteria service
• follow preparation lists and recipes
• assist with bulk preparation, catering prep, receiving, and cleaning
• prepare cold items, salads, and grab-and-go products
• serve food on the hot line
• receive and put away kitchen deliveries
• assist customers and maintain service lines
• follow HACCP and food-safety guidelines.
