Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role is onsite in East Rutherford, NJ, with pay of $25–$30 per hour. The position supports Connect ABA + Therapy’s behavioral health services for people with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

What you'll do

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• provide one-to-one instruction using applied behavior analysis techniques
• collect client progress data
• support communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living skills
• collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team
• communicate progress with clients, families, and caregivers
• participate in training and professional development.
