Director of Transportation

What you'll do

• Oversee routing, scheduling, and fleet operations to improve delivery efficiency and control costs
• support dispatchers as needed
• ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
• conduct safety audits and inspections
• develop and deliver safety training
• investigate accidents and safety violations and implement corrective actions
• maintain compliance records and submit required reports
• identify hazards and ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed
• supervise transportation and logistics personnel.
