Licensed Pest Control Technician

Job overview

The Licensed Pest Control Technician role is onsite in Newport, OR, and pays $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience. The Killers Pest Control is a locally operated pest management company backed by the Anticimex network, serving residential and commercial clients. The technician inspects properties, identifies pest activity and access points, and performs scheduled treatments and monitoring services. Customer communication, accurate service records, and safe equipment preparation support effective pest management and ongoing service quality.

What you'll do

• Perform residential and commercial pest control services according to company and state standards
• inspect for pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions
• explain findings, treatment options, and prevention recommendations to customers
• maintain timely digital service notes and reports
• prepare the company vehicle, equipment, and materials
• install and service monitoring systems, including electronic rodent monitors
• apply pesticides and service bait or monitoring stations
• inspect attics, crawlspaces, and exterior structures
• participate in training to maintain the Operator’s License and technical expertise.
