What you'll do

• Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, nurturing, engaging learning environment
• build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• use classroom technology for communication, documentation, and assessment
• maintain confidentiality and professional communication
• support classroom operations and teacher-to-child ratios
• align classroom practices with HighScope, COR Advantage, DCF, NAEYC, and YoungStar requirements
• observe, assess, and respond to children’s developmental, behavioral, and learning needs
• implement curriculum and plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Why this role

Prior early childhood education experience is required. Must be registered or eligible to register with Wisconsin’s Registry and obtain and maintain required certifications and training, including Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, Abusive Head Trauma Prevention, and mandated reporter training. Occasional travel for training, meetings, or agency events may be required.
