This role supports the surgical and perioperative services at Covenant Medical Center, contributing to the organization's mission of providing patient-focused, whole-person care. The role exists to perform routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and sterilization of instruments in a medical facility. The technician works under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing to ensure that medical equipment and instruments are properly prepared for surgical procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and testing of medical instruments.
• Sterilize medical equipment and supplies.
• Work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
