What you'll do

• Perform aseptic first-draw sampling of hot and cold potable water fixtures, ice machines, and cooling tower basins using CDC and ISO 11731 methodologies
• measure and record temperature, pH, free chlorine, and total chlorine
• complete laboratory chain-of-custody documentation
• enter test data into standardized Excel templates for the national Water Safety Management Tool
• conduct rapid resampling within five working days if positive detections occur
• complete VA background vetting and facility security badging before site work.

Why this role

Part-time, cyclical quarterly visits during Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. business hours; intermittent on-demand resampling support. Sampling dates are scheduled in advance with one week’s notice to facility staff.
