The Master Batch Mixer, Food Production role is onsite in Manteno, IL, with pay of $26–$30 per hour. Sterling Engineering is hiring a lead mixer operator to support bakery production and keep production lines supplied with dough batches. The role leads mixing operations to prepare dough accurately and consistently according to recipes and production schedules. It coordinates operators, monitors dough quality and food-safety practices, documents batches, and addresses mixing issues to maintain production flow.

What you'll do

• Review production schedules and recipes
• weigh, measure, and stage ingredients
• verify ingredient quality and traceability
• operate industrial mixers and related equipment
• monitor dough characteristics and troubleshoot inconsistencies
• perform quality checks
• coordinate and train Mixing Operators
• complete batch records
• inspect, clean, and sanitize equipment
• follow food-safety and equipment-safety requirements
• maintain batch flow and support changeovers.
