The Group Leader, Before and Afterschool, Tice Elementary is an onsite role in Fort Myers, FL. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. The position supports the YMCA of Southwest Florida’s before- and after-school program and summer camp. The group leader provides direct care and supervision, supporting participants’ safety, well-being, development, and positive relationships. The role creates age-appropriate activities, maintains program routines, communicates with families, and documents attendance and incidents.

What you'll do

• Lead age-appropriate activities and encourage participation
• monitor physical and emotional safety
• follow emergency procedures and release children only to authorized persons
• maintain a safe, orderly facility
• build positive relationships with participants and families
• establish routines and behavior guidelines
• document attendance, absences, and incidents
• report accidents and unusual incidents
• follow YMCA and DCF policies.
