Systems Integration Engineer in Severn, MD. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary range of $73,450.00 - $132,775.00 per year. Leidos is a technology leader serving government and commercial customers. Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a System Integration Engineer in our Intel Sector. Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

What you'll do

• Installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
• Supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Experience

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Must possess an IAT-I certification, such as Network + CE or Security + CE. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration. Strong Linux experience. Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure. Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage. Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
