What you'll do

• Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care under supervision.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Contributes to resident assessments.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
• Communicates clearly and maintains confidentiality.
• Counsels residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility may be required.
