The Nursing HIT Clinical Informaticist (Epic) role is onsite in Sparta, IL, in the hospital’s Information Technology Department. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. Sparta Community Hospital is transitioning to Epic and seeks to improve system use across hospital and clinic operations. The role serves as a clinical resource for Epic users, combining nursing experience with workflow analysis, end-user support, training, optimization recommendations, and project support for clinical teams and departments.

What you'll do

• Provide Epic workflow analysis and end-user support

• support projects and Epic adoption
• partner with providers, nursing staff, ancillary departments, leadership, and Epic stakeholders
• support clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

Why this role

Requires a current Illinois LPN or RN license, at least three years of clinical healthcare experience, and at least two years of Epic end-user experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; 80 hours per pay period.
