Building Engineer, Luxury Residential Community

Job overview

The Building Engineer role is onsite in Lake Park, FL. Compensation is $28–$30 per hour. The position supports Nautilus 220, a luxury waterfront condominium community managed by Black Briar Management. The engineer maintains and repairs building systems and coordinates vendors, preventive maintenance, and emergency response. Reliable systems and timely work-order completion help maintain safe operations and a high-quality resident experience.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, pump, pool, irrigation, generator, and life-safety systems
• coordinate elevator maintenance and inspections
• develop and document preventive maintenance schedules
• oversee vendors and contractors
• respond to work orders and building emergencies
• support capital projects
• monitor maintenance inventory and assist with repair and improvement budgets
• ensure regulatory compliance.
