What you'll do

  • Modify, differentiate, and teach an inclusive curriculum
  • Collaborate with families and Special Education teams to develop 504 and IEPs
  • Create an inclusive and safe environment where students feel empowered to become self-guided learners
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, school leaders, and families to analyze student work and ensure IEP compliance
  • Gather academic growth data and write goals for IEP meetings
  • Teach pull-out, push-in, small group, and one-on-one instruction
  • Build positive relationships with students
  • Partner with students’ families
  • Engage in practice-based professional development, mentorship, and coaching
  • Participate in weekly, school-wide meetings
  • Partner with grade level team to develop academic goals and practice instructional strategies.

What we're looking for

Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience
1-2 years experience preferred.
