What you'll do
- Modify, differentiate, and teach an inclusive curriculum
- Collaborate with families and Special Education teams to develop 504 and IEPs
- Create an inclusive and safe environment where students feel empowered to become self-guided learners
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school leaders, and families to analyze student work and ensure IEP compliance
- Gather academic growth data and write goals for IEP meetings
- Teach pull-out, push-in, small group, and one-on-one instruction
- Build positive relationships with students
- Partner with students’ families
- Engage in practice-based professional development, mentorship, and coaching
- Participate in weekly, school-wide meetings
- Partner with grade level team to develop academic goals and practice instructional strategies.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience
- 1-2 years experience preferred.
