The Swim Instructor role is onsite in Buffalo, NY. Pay is $17 per hour. The instructor supports Goldfish Swim School’s children’s swim instruction and water-safety program. What you'll do

• Provide swim instruction using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
• enforce safety rules and make rescues or administer first aid when necessary
• evaluate student progress and complete paperwork
• communicate with parents or guardians
• inspect pool areas and equipment
• report incidents and maintenance concerns
• attend required workshops and training.

Why this role

Requires two or more years as a swimming instructor and experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor or coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider. Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required; high school diploma or GED is preferred.
