Construction Sales Director

The Construction Sales Director role is onsite in Rochester, NY. Compensation is $115,000–$125,000 per year. Monroe Tractor is a family-owned construction and agricultural equipment dealer serving customers across the northeastern United States. The director leads sales performance across the western construction branches, developing budgets and objectives with company leadership, coaching the sales team, and improving customer service and business results. The role reports directly to the President and works with branch managers and corporate departments.

What you'll do

• Develop annual objectives and sales budgets with the President, Operations Director, and branch managers
• lead recurring sales meetings
• execute sales plans for volume, profit, product mix, and market penetration
• recruit, hire, develop, and coach sales staff
• evaluate pricing and competition
• oversee customer communications, trade-ins, equipment lines, performance, expenses, records, and customer relations
• recommend corrective action and compensation programs.
