Activities Assistant

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs
• coordinate with facility departments
• gather activity information from residents and families and involve them in planning when possible
• prepare and maintain safe activity areas
• provide daily activities such as movies, parties, games, and crafts
• oversee residents during scheduled activities
• encourage participation
• follow HIPAA requirements and honor residents’ refusal of treatment.
