Maintenance Technician, Westhampton Community

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite at the Westhampton community in Hampton, VA. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. manages multifamily communities and other real estate properties across the mid-Atlantic. The technician helps provide residents with a safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live by responding to service requests, maintaining building systems, and completing repairs. Some after-hours emergency calls and rotating evening, weekend, or holiday service calls may be required.

What you'll do

• Respond to resident service calls
• complete plumbing repairs, tile repairs, drywall installation and repair, and electrical switch repairs
• abide by Fair Housing laws
• occasionally assist with HVAC and refrigeration repairs, fence mending, key cutting, trash pickup, lawn care, pool cleaning, and carpet shampooing
• maintain equipment and community areas.
