What you'll do

• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials
• unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments
• reject damaged items and record shortages
• communicate with shippers to resolve damage or shortages
• process defective returned parts
• report defective materials or questionable conditions
• maintain shipping-material supplies
• arrange carrier pickups according to customer purchase orders and shipping instructions.
