What you'll do

• Maintain a safe play environment
• observe and monitor children
• communicate with parents or guardians
• support children’s emotional, physical, spiritual, and social development
• sanitize toys and equipment
• dress children and change diapers
• maintain individual records
• teach health and personal habits
• organize materials
• read and lead simple creative activities
• assist with meals
• prepare bottles and formula
• and provide care for children with physical or developmental disabilities.
