The Cook role is onsite in Woodland, CA, at 1568 E Main St. Pay is $17–$21 per hour. The cook reports to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager and prepares food according to Denny's menu specifications and timing standards. The role contributes to consistent food quality, safe handling, and efficient kitchen operations. It also supports guest service and cost control by maintaining stock, monitoring waste, and keeping work areas and equipment clean.

What you'll do

• Prepare, cook, and present food to order according to brand standards and recipes
• follow preparation procedures and rotate perishable stock
• maintain food temperatures and safe handling practices
• prepare special orders
• maintain shift stock levels
• organize and clean work areas and equipment
• assist with inventory and deliveries
• monitor waste and food cost controls
• address complaints courteously and notify a supervisor of issues.
