Field Technician

Job overview

What you'll do

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support POS systems, networking equipment, peripherals, and low-voltage infrastructure
• install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber and copper cabling
• build and organize telecommunications closets
• perform equipment replacements, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• conduct site surveys
• participate in customer technology rollouts
• support field escalations
• diagnose hardware, software, cabling, and connectivity issues
• communicate project status and escalate complex issues.
