The DevSecOps Engineer (Mid-Level) role is onsite at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, with compensation of $135,000–$160,000 per year. LAUNCHTECH supports the Missile Defense Agency’s Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions program with secure cloud-native platform solutions. The role designs, implements, and maintains cloud and container systems, integrating them with government infrastructure. It contributes to reliable delivery by supporting cloud migration, container hardening, security compliance, and integration across applications and infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud and container systems
• assess infrastructure for cloud and containerization
• oversee migrations and maintain systems using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Bash
• harden containers to DoD and MDA standards
• develop scalable IaaS and PaaS architecture
• incorporate security and privacy requirements
• design audit controls
• integrate subsystems
• deploy and maintain PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MySQL databases
• plan, test, and maintain IT systems
• troubleshoot integration issues
• document systems and processes
• coordinate with developers, network engineers, stakeholders, and government customers
• recommend technology and process changes based on cost, risk, and mission.
