Senior IT/OT Engineer

The Senior IT/OT Engineer is an onsite role in Foxborough, MA. The position requires onsite work five days per week for the first 4–6 months, then four days per week, including Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the fourth day alternating between Tuesday or Friday. Compensation is $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for a variable compensation plan. Stellix provides technology and engineering solutions for life sciences and industrial manufacturers. The role exists to design, implement, and secure converged IT/OT environments for life sciences and critical infrastructure clients. Technical architecture, commissioning, cybersecurity controls, client delivery, and reusable engineering standards help clients operate reliable and secure industrial systems.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and commission distributed control and SCADA systems, including DeltaV and FactoryTalk
• lead and document FAT and SAT in line with ASTM E2500 and client validation requirements
• integrate control systems with historians and OT networks
• architect and deploy Proxmox VE and VMware virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure
• specify server and network hardware
• develop build guides, diagrams, and configuration baselines
• assess and harden OT environments using SANS ICS Critical Controls and IEC 62443
• implement network segmentation, secure remote access, patching, backup, and asset inventory practices
• lead client engagements from scoping through handover
• contribute to proposals and technical estimates
• produce audit-ready documentation
• mentor junior engineers and drive reusable standards.
