The Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift is an onsite role in Morrisville, NC, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Compensation is $32.31 per hour plus a $0.95 shift differential. The technician supports Clorox's Maintenance and Production teams by keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. The role troubleshoots and repairs equipment, performs corrective and preventive maintenance, and supports production flow. By maintaining manufacturing, packaging, facility, and utility equipment and helping operators with equipment tasks, the technician contributes to safe operations and reduced downtime.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and repair breakdowns
• perform corrective and preventive maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, facility, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, process, and utility systems
• use SAP to review schedules and work orders
• install and replace machine parts
• inventory and requisition parts
• lubricate equipment
• participate in root-cause and continuous-improvement teams
• coach and train operators
• prepare maintenance reports
• support projects and operate forklifts or shop mobile equipment as needed.
