The Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist position is onsite in Sisseton, SD. Compensation is $21–$35 per hour. Coteau des Prairies Health Care System’s laboratory team provides timely testing and quality results to nursing staff and providers to inform patient care. The laboratory professional performs testing across pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases, processes specimens, and follows safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Accurate results help clinicians make informed decisions for patients.

What you'll do

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing
• follow standard operating procedures
• meet laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• recognize hazards and follow safety protocols
• collect and process specimens using appropriate equipment
• perform manual and automated clinical laboratory testing
• collect and manage blood and other fluid samples.
