Special Events Paramedic

Job overview

The Special Events Paramedic role is onsite at events across the Chicagoland area, with pay of $24.50–$29.50 per hour. LifeLine provides medical transportation and community services in Illinois and Michigan. The paramedic provides pre-hospital care to event attendees, assesses medical situations, and performs emergency procedures within training and Region XI CNEMS Standing Medical Orders. The role helps deliver timely medical response at large events such as concerts and sporting events.

What you'll do

• Provide pre-hospital patient care under Region XI CNEMS Standing Medical Orders
• respond to emergency medical situations
• assess patient conditions and determine treatment
• administer medications as authorized
• perform basic or advanced life support measures within standing orders and level of training.

Why this role

Requires Illinois Department of Public Health paramedic licensure, current CPR, and successful completion of the Region XI CNEMS Paramedic System Entry process. ACLS, PHTLS, and ITLS certificates are preferred.
