The Certified Nursing Assistant – Weekend Veteran Care role is onsite in Herndon, VA, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour. It is a part-time weekend split-shift position, with either an 8:00 AM–1:00 PM morning shift or a 3:30 PM–8:30 PM evening shift. Always Best Care of Fairfax provides personalized, client-centered care, and this role supports a veteran living independently with significant mobility limitations. The caregiver assists with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and routine morning or evening needs to support the client’s safety, comfort, and independence. The role also includes companionship, monitoring well-being, communicating with the care team and family, and occasional transportation assistance when needed.

What you'll do

• Assist with morning and evening routines
• provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and toileting
• support safe mobility and transfers
• prepare light meals and assist with hydration
• provide companionship
• monitor well-being and report concerns
• maintain a safe and organized environment
• provide occasional transportation to appointments and errands
• collaborate with family and the care team.
