The TIG Welder (Aerospace Manufacturing) is an onsite role based in Chittenango, NY. Compensation is $27–$30/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. This role supports the repair and cosmetic upgrade of investment castings. This role exists to perform Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on castings to ensure they meet customer specifications. The welder will evaluate casting conditions, prepare surfaces, and maintain welding equipment to support production goals.
What you'll do
- Perform GTAW welding for rework, repair, and cosmetic upgrades.
- Evaluate castings, perform weld preparation using grinders, operate and maintain welding equipment, and document weld locations and dimensions.
