Plant Mechanic – Frac Sand Processing

The Plant Mechanic is an onsite role in Bainville, MT, paying $30–$40 per hour depending on experience. The mechanic supports Asgard Resources’ frac sand processing facility and its safe, efficient operations. The role maintains and repairs industrial equipment to reduce downtime and support production. Through inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs, the mechanic helps keep conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, screens, and related systems operating reliably.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment
• perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and related systems
• respond to breakdowns
• replace worn or damaged parts and adjust equipment
• assist with installation and setup
• perform light welding and fabrication as needed
• conduct routine inspections
• follow MSHA safety procedures
• work with operations and management to support production.

Why this role

Full-time schedule with steady overtime available, typically five to six days per week and 12-hour shifts. MSHA experience and welding or fabrication experience are preferred but not required; training may be provided.
