Senior PCBA Rework Technician

Job overview

The Senior PCBA Rework Technician role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with hourly pay of $38–$48. K2 Space is developing and producing avionics for its Mega-class satellite platform. This technician performs precision printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) rework and supports avionics testing and flight builds. The role also works with Design and Test Engineers, assists with harness fabrication as needed, and helps improve production processes.

What you'll do

• Perform precision hand soldering and rework of printed circuit boards, including small surface-mount components and bottom termination components
• modify traces or pads and add jumper wires
• support avionics test harnesses and subassemblies
• kit components
• troubleshoot hardware with Engineering
• follow ESD-safe practices
• train technicians
• and provide process-improvement feedback.
