Personal Care Attendant

Job overview

The Personal Care Attendant role is onsite in San Juan Capistrano, CA; pay is $25–$30 per hour. The position supports a young adult with mild cerebral palsy, autism, and intellectual disabilities at home and in the community. The attendant helps with daily living, personal care, therapeutic activities, and community participation, while acting as a companion who encourages independence, social engagement, and self-directed choices.

What you'll do

• Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
• engage the client in music, dance, and adaptive yoga activities
• provide aquatic support when qualified
• help incorporate speech, occupational, or physical therapy exercises into routines
• accompany the client on outings and recreational activities
• and support self-directed decisions and social engagement.
