Material Handler I

The Material Handler I role is onsite in South Saint Paul, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8 AM–4 PM and overtime or weekends as needed. Compensation is $21.50 per hour. The position assists the warehouse department at Wellness Pet Company, whose mission is to make pet food intended to benefit pets and their families.

What you'll do

• Wrap, label, stage, and load outgoing pallets
• complete shipment requests and orders using TMS and ERP systems, computers, and scanners
• unload and inspect incoming freight, document damage, and receive and label materials
• perform inventory counts and move materials and finished goods to stock locations
• operate powered industrial trucks and warehouse equipment after company training
• assist production as needed
• maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• complete safety and food-safety documentation and training.
