Plant Mechanic

The Plant Mechanic works onsite in Henderson, CO. Pay is $24–$30 per hour. The role supports Boise Cascade’s manufacturing operations by keeping production lines operational and plant equipment efficient. The mechanic coordinates and performs mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairs, installations, and upgrades. The work also supports safe, compliant operations through equipment troubleshooting, process improvements, training, and maintenance of records and budgets.

What you'll do

• Keep production lines operational
• repair and adjust equipment
• coordinate mechanical and electrical maintenance, shutdowns, projects, installations, upgrades, repairs, and rebuilds
• monitor plant uptime and efficiency
• maintain equipment and tools
• support environmental compliance
• standardize parts and create cross-reference documentation
• train associates
• participate in equipment selection, design, installation, and debugging
• manage project construction
• convert relay logic controls to PLC programming
• resolve electrical and computerized technology issues
• maintain records and comply with budgets.
