Field Equipment Service Technician

Job overview

The Field Equipment Service Technician role is based onsite in North Billerica, MA, with compensation of $27–$27.85 per hour. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; on-call service, including weekends, is required. Farmer Brothers’ Revive Service & Restoration team installs, maintains, and repairs tea and coffee beverage equipment. The technician installs, removes, and services beverage equipment for a designated customer base. Timely repairs, preventive maintenance, accurate service records, and parts management help customers maintain functioning beverage equipment.

What you'll do

• Install, repair, and remove coffee and beverage dispensing equipment
• perform scheduled and unscheduled service, emergency calls, preventive maintenance, surveys, and installations
• participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
• maintain and reorder parts
• document work and close service calls
• plan and execute installations
• communicate with customers and management
• follow customer service-level agreements and prioritize tasks.
