What you'll do

• Set up and operate centerless grinders, surface grinders, lathes, and lappers
• operate testing or data-collection stations
• inspect parts against specifications and tolerances
• make adjustments and perform first-level equipment maintenance
• collect measurements using micrometers and other tools
• and maintain a clean work area. The regular schedule is first shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, or second shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, after first-shift training.
