The Centerless Grinder – 2nd Shift works onsite in Compton, CA. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour. RBC Bearings manufactures precision bearings, components, and systems for industrial, defense, and aerospace markets. The grinder sets up and operates centerless and cylindrical grinders to produce precision parts. Blueprint reading, wheel dressing, and precision gauging support accurate production of aerospace components and other engineered products.

What you'll do

• Set up and run multiple cylindrical parts on centerless and cylindrical grinders
• use grinding wheels and wheel dressing
• read blueprints
• perform precision gauging of aerospace parts
• apply mechanical skills and shop mathematics
• work with metals and adapt to changing priorities.
