The role leads clinical operations for Horizon House’s single-site Assisted Living and Memory Care units, supporting resident care and a community of 250 employees. As the primary clinical authority, the Director of Nursing oversees delegation, assessments, care planning, compliance, quality improvement, and staff development. The role helps ensure safe, coordinated, person-centered care and supports resident outcomes through collaboration with care providers and community leaders.

What you'll do

• Lead the RN Delegation Program and oversee resident assessments, care planning, admissions, reviews, and change-of-condition evaluations. Supervise and develop Medication Technicians and nursing staff
• manage incident reporting, investigations, audits, corrective actions, and documentation. Lead quality assurance and performance improvement, strengthen medication management, infection prevention, and safety practices, resolve clinical grievances, coordinate with providers, develop training, and participate in the manager-on-call rotation.
