The Infant Development Specialist role is onsite in Elk Grove, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Compensation is not specified. Catalyst Family’s program serves children from birth through age three and supports their development and family relationships. The specialist plans and provides developmentally appropriate experiences, maintains a safe and nurturing environment, and tracks each child’s progress. The role contributes to children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development while supporting continuity of care and strong, culturally responsive relationships with families.
What you'll do
- Create individual curriculum and small-group experiences connected to children’s interests and development
- apply knowledge of infant and toddler development
- supervise children and follow safety and compliance practices
- maintain enriched learning environments
- build reciprocal relationships with children, families, communities, and classroom teams
- provide daily reports and ongoing developmental progress updates
- collaborate with colleagues.
