What you'll do

• Develop and execute the Transportation vertical commodity strategy
• lead cost reduction, vendor rationalization, supplier development, delivery and quality improvement, and long-term agreement initiatives
• negotiate with suppliers
• improve working capital and cash flow through inventory optimization and payment terms
• identify synergies across business units and acquisitions
• support new program implementation and supplier selection
• partner on product redesign and alternate sourcing
• resolve fulfillment, cost, and quality escalations
• analyze market conditions and cost drivers
• manage supplier contracts and relationships.
