The Acquired Brain Injury Companion / Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Plainfield, CT, at $17 per hour. Project Genesis supports adults with acquired brain injuries to live more independently, build confidence, and pursue personal goals. Part-time, per diem shifts are available from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

What you'll do

• Provide non-medical support with meal preparation, light household tasks, personal care, and daily living activities
• encourage community participation and social engagement
• support confidence and independence
• assist with budgeting and financial management
• maintain documentation and follow individualized care plans.
