What you'll do

• Forecast sales goals and objectives
• hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor new-vehicle sales employees
• direct and schedule department activities
• support salespeople in setting and meeting goals
• maintain sales activity logs and prospecting and follow-up systems
• conduct sales meetings
• ensure policy and regulatory compliance
• support deal closing and settlement
• oversee vehicle delivery standards and first-service scheduling
• monitor inventory and recommend stock mix
• coordinate merchandising, advertising, and promotions
• process commission sheets and monitor payroll records.
