Senior Systems Administrator, Enterprise Windows (EWASS)

Job overview

The Senior Systems Administrator role is onsite in Richmond, VA, Monday through Friday. Pay is $100,000–$115,000 per year. The role supports the Defense Logistics Agency’s enterprise Windows environments and mission-critical IT infrastructure; an active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance is required. The administrator leads daily Windows systems operations, maintaining security, stability, and performance across on-premises and cloud environments while improving processes, supporting users, and mentoring system administrators.

What you'll do

• Oversee Windows system and network stability, security, and performance
• plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links
• manage information systems and resolve user software and connectivity issues
• conduct capacity and performance analysis
• drive automation, process improvements, and training
• support maintenance, upgrades, and installations across locations
• administer Windows Server across NIPR and SIPR networks
• perform patching, STIG and ACAS remediation, Active Directory and Group Policy management, performance monitoring, PowerShell automation, and vulnerability management
• and supervise and mentor system administrators.
