Fitness Coach

Job overview

The Fitness Coach role is onsite in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Compensation is $18–$30 per hour. The coach supports Orangetheory Fitness classes and member experiences. The coach delivers pre-designed group workouts, motivates and guides members, and adapts exercise options to different abilities and needs. The role also supports member orientation, fitness-goal consultations, membership sales, studio upkeep, and ongoing coach training and community participation.

What you'll do

• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 40 members
• motivate clients and educate them on fitness goals
• monitor member safety and exercise technique
• offer exercise options for different skill levels and needs
• prepare for coaching blocks and arrive 30 minutes before each block
• orient first-time guests
• conduct post-class consultations and membership sales
• follow studio cleaning guidelines
• complete required learning and participate in community events and staff meetings.
