Reading Interventionist – SST Willow Creek is an onsite, full-time role in Spring, TX. Compensation is $63,000–$84,000 per year. The School of Science & Technology’s intervention approach supports students who are at risk of or already performing below grade- or age-level standards. The interventionist works with small groups of students with significant reading and/or math gaps, using screening, progress monitoring, and research-based instruction to help close those gaps. This work supports students’ readiness to participate successfully in the school’s rigorous instruction and STEM initiative.

What you'll do

• Provide small-group academic intervention for students with identified reading and/or math gaps
• use universal screening, Direct Instruction intervention, frequent progress monitoring, and increasingly intensive research-based instruction for students who continue to struggle
• demonstrate proficiency in Math and/or English Language Arts and pass the school’s content assessment.
